Happy Tuesday friends! How was your weekend? We had a wonderful one. I went camping with my oldest and I have to say it was so much fun! I loved spending time alone with him. He's growing so fast and I'm starting to feel a little disconnection with him because his little brother still needs help with so much. But, on this trip I got my share of hugs, snuggles, love and lots of laughs. It was amazing! Sorry to get side tracked. On to the fun stuff, the Top 10 of what is getting my attention via the

I am normally obsessed with pillows and curtains. But, lately I am on a huge rug kick. It was sparked with my recent motivation to get our master bedroom completed before the year was done. We had complications unfortunately that truly caused me to lose my inspiration. Then one day I had enough and decided it was time to get inspired again and start crossing off items on my to do list to get this room done. If you follow me on instagram you can see that the doors finally came in on the cabinets. I decided on

Mornin'! Nothing like a little morning inspiration for your Tuesday! I'm completely smitten with this herb garden wall inside the home. After reading in detail it's a prop but I'm wondering if this can really grow inside your home if it's near a window. What do y'all think? Contemporary Kitchen by Richmond Interior Designers & Decorators Portico Design Group I dream of homes like this. In a perfect world, I would have our current home and a second home to get away to. It would probably look a little something like this home. On rainy days, the boys would play

I am like many others and I can't help but drive slowly past a pretty home. Especially if they have a fun door color and there are lots of pretty one's in Charleston. If you follow me on instagram you know that I share a lot of pretty Charleston homes and especially pretty doors. Here are a few that have caught my eye. Aren't they pretty? I've put together my go to colors and beautiful inspirational doors I've found. Red doors are beautiful especially lacquered. Morning friends! Wow, where did this week go? But it's Friday and I'm thrilled for the weekend! So, in honor of Friday, I felt a Fri-yay post was due because there were so many wonderful reasons to say "yay" about this week! First of, I'm thrilled to announce I'm part of the William Means team.  I've been with my past real estate company for close to 10 years, so making this change was a very big deal for me. I worked with William Means when we sold our downtown home and they were just wonderful. I hope y'all keep me in mind for

Drapery is one of my favorite items in my decor process. It creates that "wow" factor and has such an impact in your space. I usually have my drapes custom made. I like to control that process by picking my fabric, liner and creating my custom length to complete that vision for the space. One trick I've learned over the years is hanging the drapes as high as possible. I usually hang the rods 2 to 2.5 inches from the molding or ceiling to make the room feel taller. Then from the sides of the window I

Morning friends! Hoping y'all have a great Tuesday. Now, that we have our double ear infection under control everything's hopefully smooth sailing from here on out. I had good intentions on writing a post about a recent project but as luck would have it my youngest woke screaming with ear pain. I called the doctor at 8pm on a Sunday, begged for amoxicillin with no avail. I knew it was an ear infection, it's mother's intuition to know your children's health and how to fix it, don't you agree? Anyway, that never happened so I'm going to

Gosh y'all is it finally Friday? I swear August just started and now it's over. I'm looking forward to a weekend with no plans. OK, well I am doing a home inspection Saturday morning and stopping by a client's home to see the latest shipment for their bedroom. But, that's it! We have been living out of a suitcase all of August and I just want to be home. I want to organize my house, catch up on laundry and finish our honey do list. Anyway, I decided to begin a Fri-yay post. It's about whatever

Two posts in one week and it's only Tuesday! There has been so much going on lately in our lives that unfortunately I had to take a little break writing.   But I do hope to make it up to you with some amazing interiors, fashion and inspiration.  So, let's get started shall we? Let's talk about what I'm envious of in this kitchen in no exact order. Windows, island, countertops, open shelves, ok the entire space, wow!
