Fri-Yay!!

Fri-Yay!!

Gosh y’all is it finally Friday? I swear August just started and now it’s over. I’m looking forward to a weekend with no plans. OK, well I am doing a home inspection Saturday morning and stopping by a client’s home to see the latest shipment for their bedroom. But, that’s it! We have been living out of a suitcase all of August and I just want to be home. I want to organize my house, catch up on laundry and finish our honey do list.

Anyway, I decided to begin a Fri-yay post. It’s about whatever made my say a little “yay” this week.. I’m not sure where the days went, work was so busy! However, I managed to get a fun night out with the girls right before the husband hit the road…again. I attended the Nordstrom rack grand opening here in Charleston, actually Mt. Pleasant. We lack terribly in department stores because obviously we aren’t a big metropolis. So, to have this open so close to me was pretty fun and exciting! What made it even more fun was to go shopping with these fabulous ladies!

I barely made it in the door because I spent a good 30 minutes trying on all the ray-bans at the front door. I have a love for traditional ray-bans. Mine currently have scratched lenses which makes it difficult to see. They had my exact pair for less than $80. Score!

The store was full of fabulous items. Kate spade purses, tory burch shoes, joie tops, vince camuto boots, joe’s jeans and so much more. I grabbed these fabulous jeans, boots and darling dress.

I’ve already worn the dress and love it! It’s so simple but can be dressed up or down.

I’m waiting for after the grand opening today before I go back because I left so many items behind that I now wish I would have grabbed…like these items.

If you don’t have one of these jackets, get it for your wardrobe!

This is a fall must have!

These Sam Edelman boots make me want to jump up and down with excitement.

My bags are all neutral or my two big bags. I want some color and this Milly bag is one that would add a wow factor to my bag collection.

And, this dress may not look like much, but I can promise you with the right accessories, you would get compliments walking into work. I love it’s cut and if you look closely the fabric has an interesting texture.

And there are some great sweaters that I wanted to grab too! This Free People sweater is simple and will look great with jeans.

So, locals I’m happy to say we have a new place to shop here in town. I’m off to work and hope y’all have a great weekend!
