Decorating & Design

Hi friends! Sorry for the late post. But, happy Tuesday! I hope y'all had a great weekend! I enjoyed another laid back weekend with my family. We got the house in order, de-cluttered and knocked on some serious DIY stuff. And how about the groundhog today? Can we get a yay for early Spring! I am ready for some warm weather, aren't y'all? On that note let's get to the good stuff and show you some of my favorites from this week. This kitchen is so clean and simple and I LOVE the doors! Transitional Kitchen by

Morning friends! I'm excited to show you this before and after of a den project I worked on. This client is so cute and so fun, I had a blast redoing their living room space. I have to preface that I don't think these photos do this space justice. It's so much more beautiful in person. The windows let in so much light and the views from their living room are just amazing! So let's start from the beginning, that's always a good place to begin. ;-) So, I'm horrible at taking before pictures. Well, actually

Morning friends! Wow, I feel that I haven't written one of these in a long time. The holidays and work at the end of last year seemed so much more chaotic then they have in past years. It was wonderful and my 2016 is off to a great start as well so no complaints. Just lots of projects and inspiration to go with them! So, you know the routine, let's jump into it! The architectural details of this home are just beautiful! Mediterranean Exterior by Tampa Architects & Building Designers Hittmeier Design Consultants This bedroom is so serene and welcoming! I

One of the 'must see' areas of downtown Charleston is the Battery. In fact, if you're planning a trip here, stop by a cute cafe, grab a lunch and take it to the Battery for a sweet picnic. You'll be surrounded by one of the most breathtaking views Charleston has to offer - a taste of history mixed with beautiful South of Broad homes and the calming Ashley River. Simply enjoy it! And, as you look and walk around, you just might spot the charming Colonel James English House, circa 1760; "a quintessential example of Downtown Charleston southern charm." I'm so

OK, we know how much I adore downtown Charleston. Every time I look at one of our William Means homes for sale it brings back memories of our Queen Street property. Old historic homes like The Charles Seignious House at 45 Hassell Street is definitely worth mentioning. I love how this historic property (circa 1851) has been transformed into a modern living space inside. My favorite features - A-MAZING view of downtown, stunning kitchen with the best upgrades ever, open living space, a private courtyard and multiple side porches. But, enough talking

Y'all I'm so sorry I've been MIA. The holidays and work have been chaotic and when I try to write at night I cannot keep my eyes open lately. I have some pretty projects to show you, but won't be able to photograph them until after the holidays. Which is fine, I'm excited to have a break and enjoy time with my family. Anyway, let's get into some eye candy shall we? Since Charleston is still humid and the mosquitoes don't want to go away, my mind is stuck in warm weather inspirations. And, I LOVE this pool situation

This post is very long over due, but I finally snapped photos and get to post it! One of my best friends had a baby, ok about a year ago. Either way I wanted to create a nursery for her and her sweet baby to be. She wanted a simple, gray, white and rustic nursery. With this space, I didn't go over the top. I did what she asked and I have to say, in person it is so precious and sweet. I love the coziness of it, the simplicity of it and the little details catch your

Morning! Happy Tuesday, t's one of my favorite days of the week! So, I never finished my One Room Challenge, we are still working on it. Everything actually came in on time except for the shelving stuff, whomp whomp. It will be great when I'm finished, which will be hopefully soon. Of course I'm behind on blog posts because I've had so many projects going on and real estate too. This post could actually be a top 200 but I will control myself and save the others for another time. Anyway, that being said, let's get started! This

Wow, did that just happen? Week 5 is here of the one room challenge and guess who is probably not going to be finished in time? Yes, this girl. Missing my hardware for my shelves, items are backordered and I'm at a stand still. Well, it is what it is in this case, but I will eventually show off the reveal when I finally finish it. In the mean time, a couple of exciting things happened. The swing chair is here and hung! And, one bookcase is here and installed. And is just our playroom or does everyone else's look like this?
