The Rustic nursery reveal

The Rustic nursery reveal

This post is very long over due, but I finally snapped photos and get to post it!

One of my best friends had a baby, ok about a year ago. Either way I wanted to create a nursery for her and her sweet baby to be. She wanted a simple, gray, white and rustic nursery.

With this space, I didn’t go over the top. I did what she asked and I have to say, in person it is so precious and sweet. I love the coziness of it, the simplicity of it and the little details catch your eye.

Her crib was a hand me down and we started by painting it white. The bedding was purchased from Pottery Barn kids.

The walls were painted Sherwin Williams First Star. It is one of my favorite go to colors because it’s subtle and just feels so fresh. We added stars from Urban Walls. in a falling star pattern from the ceiling down passed the crib.

The table, lamp, mirror, storage above the changing table, wooden shelf and the metal ‘G’ were a great score at Homegoods.

The curtains were also Pottery Barn Kids.

The changing table was a local score as well. We decided to go with a standard dresser and add the pad to the top vs. buying a traditional chasing table. It’s great that it can be used as a dresser down the road.

The rug was a find at Lowe’s and it could not be anymore perfect!

So I asked Grady what he thought and he said…
