I held an alligator for the boys, we saw jump dogs and just had such a fun weekend being downtown, even though it was FREEZING!! So, moving ...

The painted door

Morning friends! I'm actually posting during normal business hours today! I wanted to talk about fun door colors today! I love a pretty pop of color on a front door. Granted, I have a very taupe home with a wooden door but it doesn't mean I don't like colors. Next house, I promise! (And, no I'm not selling. Each time I post something my phone or email have a message asking if I'm selling and not ...

A kitchen makeover with a little midcentury modern vibe

I was thrilled to be asked to help with this kitchen. This space belongs to one of my nearest and dearest friends. We have been in one another's wedding, we were there for one another when we both had our children and now she helps me to do a lot of marketing. She has alway supported me whole heartedly in my career. So needless to say, making this space amazing for her was very important to ...

Morning friends! Hope y'all had a great Super Bowl weekend. Did you go over the top with food? We did big time. The gym yesterday hurt so badly! And, today, I'm going to push myself and go to my friends Barre class. I've got to get back in shape! Anyway, let's talk about some prettiness this week. I put this photo on instagram the other day because first off, it's gorgeous, but secondly, I'm working on a kitchen renovation and we have ...

On that note let's get to the good stuff and show you some of ...

A little bit of coral, white and blues. A den redo

Morning friends! I'm excited to show you this before and after of a den project I worked on. This client is so cute and so fun, I had a blast redoing their living room space. I have to preface that I don't think these photos do this space justice. It's so much more beautiful in person. The windows let in so much light and the views from their living room are just amazing! So let's ...

Morning friends! Wow, I feel that I haven't written one of these in a long time. The holidays and work at the end of last year seemed so much more chaotic then they have in past years. It was wonderful and my 2016 is off to a great start as well so no complaints. Just lots of projects and inspiration to go with them! So, you know the routine, let's jump into it! The architectural details of this home ...

Home Tour: Colonel James English House

One of the 'must see' areas of downtown Charleston is the Battery. In fact, if you're planning a trip here, stop by a cute cafe, grab a lunch and take it to the Battery for a sweet picnic. You'll be surrounded by one of the most breathtaking views Charleston has to offer - a taste of history mixed with beautiful South of Broad homes and the calming Ashley River. Simply enjoy it! And, as you look and walk around, you ...
