Morning friends!  How was your Monday? Mine was productive and I enjoyed getting a lot done.   I'm excited to share some beautiful inspirational home designs, fun decor and of course fabulous fashion.  This farmhouse is a scene out of a movie. I love the windows.  Farmhouse Exterior by Charlotte Architects & Building Designers Pursley Dixon Architecture This bedroom ceiling reminds me of the kitchen project I'm working on. I love this space it is stunning from top to bottom. So much detail and so simple. Farmhouse Bedroom by Santa Barbara General Contractors Giffin & Crane General Contractors, Inc. Swing arm and library lights are popping up everywhere. Bookcases, kitchens, bathrooms and other rooms. They make such a great statement above windows, on miscellaneous places on the wall and on bookcases. Here's my quick list that won't break the bank. This light screams coastal to me and I love the color choices. This one has a very industrial look but I love it. Add an Edison bulb and voila! I'd be tempted to spray paint this one gold if this color didn't work. For the price it's a no brainer! Another great price and fun light. These are a fabulous price and

So, there's no hiding how much I love fashion. I do love to dress up, but I also have a very casual, comfortable style. I need to look put together but also be comfortable because I could be showing a home, meeting a design client, knocking down a wall or being with my boys. So, I put together a quick list of some staple pieces that I'm going to be purchasing that will be worn repeatedly, mixed & matched. Click on the images below to see additional details on the products. Aren't these great? Affordable, cute, staple items and just fun!

Morning friends! I actually wrote this on Saturday morning because this image below stopped me in my tracks and I thought, better get started, so here we go! Where do I start to? The marble, the lighting, the cabinet color, the cabinet details, the benches, I mean the list goes on why I'm crushing on this space. Do y'all agree? Morning friends! I'm sharing with you some tiles that I have used in projects and others I would LOVE to use in projects that won't break the bank. This beautiful Merola Tile Twenties Classic is from Home Depot. Transitional Kitchen by Tomball Interior Designers & Decorators Courtney Holland Interiors I've used this Moroccan tile in my home and several projects. Modern Kitchen by North Hollywood Tile, Stone & Countertops Imperial Tile & Stone This tile is fun and I would love to see it in a laundry room, mudroom, backsplash or maybe a powder room! When I work on projects, I always have a short list of my no fails go to paint colors that I love to use over and over. They're great colors that go with almost all aesthetics and design styles. We all know that gray and white are very popular in design right now. But, the question always is what gray or white do we use? So, below I have compiled a short list of my favorite light grays, whites and dark grays. But, always test before painting because walls can do funny things and colors can sometimes not turn

Happy Tuesday friends! I don't know about y'all but recovery from the weekend is a slow process for me. We were on the go the entire time!  Phew! Anyway, during the holidays I did get a few minutes to do some online perusing and found some prettiness worth sharing!  Oh hello, welcome home! (sigh) Transitional Exterior by Austin Architects & Building Designers Cornerstone Architects I love the fact that this ceiling is tiled. I wanted to do this so badly in our new shower but based on the design it didn't work. Traditional Bathroom by Decatur Architects & Building Designers Brian Patterson Designs, Inc. I'm begining

Happy Monday friends! I am excited to share part two of the Dalton project reveal! So, when I was brought on this project, the cabinet color and layout had already been decided. I helped in the lighting, the backsplash and the countertops. I used super white granite for the countertops and the backsplash was called Soho Chevron White Thassos. Off of the kitchen is a butlers pantry. My client wanted something fun for the backsplash & different countertops. We used a traditional black granite and a glass basket weave backsplash. The kitchen opens to the den and the detail in this home continues.
