Top 10 Tuesday

Top 10 Tuesday

Morning y’all! I’ve got some fabulous projects going on right now and real estate is buzzing too. So, unfortunately with that, my husband traveling a lot and me at home with the kids the blog posts have taken a little bit of a back seat. But rest assured, my head is spinning with posts that I cannot wait to write.

But, to ease back into everything, I want to start with my Top 10 Tuesday because there have been many amazing things appearing on my laptop screen that I want to share. So, let’s get right to it!

I am working on another kitchen project and I’m super excited because my clients are adding black windows and doors. This is a great inspiration photo to get my head spinning!

So, in this kitchen remodel that I just mentioned, my client wants to incorporate brass. I mean does this brass bar stool count? LOVE!

We don’t have a breakfast nook in our home. However, we are talking about another major renovation in our home and I’m ECSTATIC! So, if for some reason there’s an opportunity to add a breakfast nook, then I think one like this may work.

I think this set is a GREAT fathers day gift and would look amazing in the kitchen.

Here’s another kitchen gadget that would deem counter worthy. I’m curious to see who all owns a Vitamix? I hear nothing but amazing things about it. I’ve had smoothies in it and I think they’re great. Then I had my first AMAZING margarita in it and it rocked. Is it worth the investment? Honestly because it is an investment. I’m curious to hear.

I’m going to totally switch gears for a second and share with you my absolute FAVORITE heels right now. And, you can get them on sale too! They are so comfy and the low heel makes it easier to walk in while still looking stunning. I get a lot of compliments on them.

And, switch gears one more time. I have a very unhealthy obsession with this chaise. I want it either at the foot of my bed or on the side near the fireplace. I think she is beautiful!

Lately, as in the past 3 days, I’ve been enjoying my front porch and falling asleep on it. I try to read and then this tiredness takes over and just like that I’m out for the count until one of my kids scares me to death. We have now two peacock chairs. A regular one and a chaise version on one side of our porch. Our other side is empty and my husband wants to build a porch swing. I’m willing to bet I can easily pass out on something like this as well.

Still talking porch’s. I have become a little nuts over these chairs. Does anyone own them? Are they comfy? I want them so badly!

This weekend I wore one of my new favorite cover-ups to the beach. I discovered this cute store downtown called the Impeccable pig. Have y’all heard of it? This cover up is the perfect length, it has fun embroidery and even has a tassel tie in the back. I LOVE it!

Oh I’ve been obsessed with black windows like that. And I saw those stools yesterday. So so pretty. And that chaise is fabulous.

Hi Krystine, We’ve had the Vitamix for a few years now and we LOVE it! We mostly use it for smoothies but occasionally a recipe will call for blending and it works perfectly and, of course, as summer kicks in for margaritas! As for the investment side, a big part of why we purchased one was at the recommendation of my MIL. She makes a BIG smoothie (lots of fresh veggies and frozen fruit) every morning and literally went through four of the less expensive blenders (the last being a not-so-inexpensive kitchenaid model) before finally investing in the Vitamix. She’s on somewhat of a fixed income and is on the frugal-side so the fact that she thinks it was a good investment was good enough for us. She’s had her’s for 4 + years and no issues (that I’m aware of).
