Y’all let’s start with the fact that I LOVE a screen porch!!! It can truly be an extension of your home. One free extra room, yes, please!

So, when I began this project, I started with the master bedroom, then we moved to the den and next was the screen porch.

(Side note: I am SO sorry that I don’t have any before pics & definitely even more sorry that I don’t some of the pieces we painted.) 🙁

My client has a very large space. It’s a typical rectangle. When I started there was nothing on it but a grill.

We began by painting the floors Locomotive Black by Martin Senour. I have used this paint color on multiple porches. It’s kinda a Charleston thing.

Next was finding the perfect sofa. We found this one at World Market.

The one we bought is no longer available, but this one is in-stock and on sale!

Then we needed a pair of chairs. We were looking at adirondacks like these.

We actually found a different pair at an auction & painted them with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Pure White.

Then came the rug and this one was just perfect! I loved the colors and the chevron.

Next on my list was to create an outdoor dining space to entertain. So, we found a table and chairs at a thrift store and painted it to give it some love.

We also needed a coffee table and side tables. My client saw my porch and quickly jumped online to Ikea to snag these two items.

Finally, one thing I love on porches are curtains. I have used these Ikea curtains on a few projects.

These curtains & thick & affordable!

I am happy to say she is over-the-moon about her new space! Don’t underestimate the power of painting and experimenting with fun colors like her green table.

Hope y’all enjoyed, and thanks for stopping by!

It’s beautiful and I love that you did it with such reasonably priced finds! I hope this is a client who is also a friend because I’d love to have that space for some girls nights gatherings!
