A quick and easy DIY gold planter

A quick and easy DIY gold planter

So, this past weekend, I may have gone overboard a little with my gold spray paint. I was just in the mood to paint something so I did! I actually surprised myself with how much I ended up liking my last minute, wing it, DIY project.

Come check it out!

First, Let’s talk about the DIY planter that I attempted to create.

Inspiration from Pop and Scott - LOVE these!

I began with a flower pot from lowe’s, some gold and white spray paint.

I began by spraying the container white.

I then used painters tape to cover the planter to spray the lip and the bottom. (which I forgot to take a photo of….sorry)

Then after I had the bottom rim painted & the lip I pulled the tape off and this happened.

Painters tape removed the white and this happened

I kinda dig it!

I also used the gold spray paint on a DIY vase will share that soon!
