Appling bathroom reveal
I am very excited to share this project (finally) with you. I was asked to come and redo the master bathroom of clients that I worked with previously. I was excited to be a part because I knew my client, well the wife at least, and I had similar styles. She wanted a chic bathroom that was bright clean and fabulous. They were and are still excited about their space and I couldn’t be happier. Let’s start from the beginning, shall we?
As you can see, the vanity was falling apart, the granite was black, the paint dull and this space seemed a little dreary.
The shower was enclosed, small and dated.
The old tub was too big and made the space feel crammed.
So, we brought it down to the studs and began the renovation. We left the floors alone because they are heart pine and were already in place. The client also decided to leave the window and to eventually install plantation shutters. They wanted to keep the bathroom private.
I called my cabinet guy and had him build a custom cabinet. I wanted to make sure it was a show stopper. We chose Canton Blue from the Colors of Historic Charleston book at Sherwin Williams.
So, without further adieu…the newly updated bathroom.
And, that’s a wrap! Thank you for dropping in to see the before and after of this fun and happy project!
