Setting the table for the 4th of July

Setting the table for the 4th of July

I know I’m jumping the gun and talking about the 4th of July already. Realistically we know it will be here before y’all reach the end of this post. Kidding, not quite that quickly but it will be here before we know it!
If you follow me on instagram, you may have seen that we recently finished our outdoor space. I am in love with it! We have had so many dinner parties and it’s just been a blast!

Recently, I went shopping for a mirror at Homegoods. However, I was completely distracted by the dishes and table cloths. They had the best selection to get my outdoor dining space Fourth of July ready!

I was so inspired when I found these plates. I mean red and blue? That was too easy. What was even more fun were these napkins by Calvin Klein. They almost remind me of fireworks.

I had to have stars and stripes on the table. And I didn’t want flags everywhere, I needed a little something more. I was ecstatic to find these $1 pinwheels for the boys at Target. It’s perfect for decor and even more fun for them to pay with. I also, could not resist these pinwheels to add to the chairs! Then, I found these larger pinwheels that I opened half way on each end of the table.

Flowers go a long way and so do blue & white vases. I have purchased several at our Homegoods and could not be more ecstatic. I used our blue and white vase as a centerpiece and added some white hydrangeas. I think the simplicity of the centerpiece works well against all the red.

This table cloth was so fun and so perfect to lay the groundwork for my tablescape. I didn’t want a big pattern as much as a small subtle one because I knew I was going to have patterns on the table.

I added some more accessories like these party poppers which I may regret after they get popped! All I need is food and we are all set!

So so pretty! I need a setting like this when I’ll celebrate becoming a citizen tomorrow 😉
